Brenda Morgan is a Licensed Occupational Therapist specializing in pediatrics. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Family and Child Sciences with a minor in Psychology from Florida State University. She has always had a passion for working with kids and during undergraduate studies developed skills as both a part-time counselor at Sue Herndon McCollum Community Center and intern at Pediatria HealthCare for Kids for child clinical services and promotion of family well-being. While there Brenda discovered her love for occupational therapy.
She returned to school at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (Miami Campus) to earn her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Brenda started at Crystal Academy as a student completing her level 2 fieldwork curriculum. Once here she became passionate about not only working in pediatrics but working specifically with the families, children, and faculty at Crystal Academy. Once graduated she came back to join the team.
Brenda strives to use creative and holistic techniques to provide the highest quality of rehabilitative care to every child. She is dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals of all ages with empathy and kindness. Brenda believes that therapy should be fun and rewarding, catered to address the specific needs of each child with play as the primary occupation.
